Data we process

• Identity and contact data such as name, company, email, phone, country, city, delivery or site address.
• Billing, order, supplier and company-registration details when provided.
• Enquiry content, project data, advisory information, messages and uploaded files.
• Security and operational information such as server logs and IP addresses where created by hosting or security providers.
• Cart and cookie-preference information stored locally in your browser.

Purposes and lawful bases

• Pre-contract steps and contract performance: quotations, product orders, delivery, engineering requests and Advisory services.
• Legal obligations: accounting, tax, consumer-protection, warranty and regulatory records.
• Legitimate interests: website security, fraud/abuse prevention, service improvement and proportionate B2B communication where your rights do not override those interests.
• Consent: only for optional analytics, marketing or communications where consent is legally required.

Recipients and processors

Data may be processed only as necessary by hosting, database, email, payment, accounting, meeting/video-conference, logistics, IT-security and professional-service providers. Voltavia does not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EEA

If a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, Voltavia will use an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism and safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, contractual relationship, legal claims and mandatory accounting/tax/warranty periods. Exact periods vary by record category and applicable law.

• Withdrawal of consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

Security, children and automated decisions

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. The website is not directed at children. The current platform does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated profiling.

Files and special-category data

Do not upload sensitive or unrelated personal information unless it is strictly necessary and a lawful basis has been established. Upload only documents you are authorised to share.
